NDP rambling

I just read in the newspaper yesterday that this year they are going to bring the fireworks to the neighbourhood of Tampines, Yishun and Jurong. Yipee!!! Horaay!!! Now i can finally have a better view of the ndp fireworks. But i also read that the mobile column will also be past through Tampines, next to my block, to their camp in Changi. Argh!!!!! I have to listen to that "stupid, nuisance, scare people cannot hear" armoured vehicles' noises again. I'm going to stuff my pillows into my ears to block the noises. Quite sick of the noise liao. Hear it everytime I go for my reservist.

Santa's nonsense

Just thought that I write something here before my "tau ni" drink get cut again. Last week has been quite hectic lor. Almost can't find time to mark my books leh. Must apologise to my elves lor. But they should be quite happy lah, very little homework. 8) Anyway, my little "elfie" birthday is coming lor, in about 2 months time. Can't wait for it to come. But before that, something more interesting coming up.

You know that day that we have to be (or at least pretend and act) proud of our Singapore. hehehe. Yup that's right! National Day! Speaking of NDP, did any of you heard the mobile column passing through Tampines on Sunday morning at about 3 plus am. I was minding my own business on the sofa (dozing off) when I was awaken by these loud, roaring and familiar "scare people can't hear them" sound of tanks and armoured vehicles. Got a bit sick of hearing them already. The sound was familiar to me because my reservist unit is a armour unit, as you know I just went back in end of may for my reservist training, so I have already heard until I sick of that "stupid" sound liao.

Anyway, I "escorted" them with my eyes from my balcony. Wah! The whole convoy took quite long to move away. About 20 minutes of noise pollution was created before they all disappear from my sight or hearing. I suspect I'm going to hear them every sunday morning at around 3am until the end of NDP. I will now scotch-tape cotton wool and cork into my ear every Saturday night before I sleep, or else I go bonkers from hearing their noise.

Long Blog Entry

Hiya guys (or girls)!!!! Miss me? Yes I know I'm very thick-skinned but what to do, all teachers are thick-skinned what (like a certain blue creature). Or else how are we going to teach a class. hehehe. Anyway, I've been pestered by "a certain blue creature" to write my blog. "It" threatens to stop paying for my Soya bean milk drink if I don't write by this week. So I must write lor, here it goes.

This week has been a very busy week for me. (Ok, ok, blue creature you also!) Got rehearsals for the drama lah, got to practice for the clean & green competition lah, must set up science trek lah. Wah!!! So much work to do!!! Almost no time to sleep leh. Anyway for those who didn't know, I almost spent my entire whole June holidays in school (not including Sundays, of course). First 2 weeks of holidays, I came back to school for at least 10 times to prepare for the camp in the 3rd week. That means I planned and prepared the camp stuffs like crazy so that people like, Mr How and Mr Yaydiy can come and sleep and eat and play shiok shiok during the camp. Then my 3rd week of holiday was spent Monday to Wednesday in camp, Thursday to Friday in rehearsals. Finally, my last week of holidays was spent in school attending meetings.

So like I said lor, I didn't went on a holiday lor (unlike certain blue-ling). But I did manage to squeeze some time out to go -gai-gai to the near-by shops with my little elfie lor. Met a certain "miss tay" thrice. Was also thrice nearly knocked down by this same "miss tay" lor. Normally can hear her running footsteps before seeing her wan lor. So I now will "siam" about 10 metres away from the path to prevent another collision lor.
