Dad's Day 2 in CGH

Yup! My dad is still in CGH. He could finally feed. The docs did their test this morning but they said (ready yourself for this), they can't find the cancerous cells, there seems to be no cancerous cells in his stomach. Am I supposed to be relieved? Somehow I wasn't surprised lor. I still stick to that comment i made yesterday about s'pore elites. But they said my dad's face look fat (He is obese do these docs know that!!!!) so they kept my dad for a few more days. Elites, anyone???People that know me, can you do me a favour? If next time I have any medical problem and I said I want to be admitted to CGH, kindly book an IMH ward for me. Thanks in advance!

Anyway, there was a patient who passed away in my dad's ward this evening. When I went to visit my dad's after school. I saw 3 docs next to that's patient's bed. I presume they are the resident (doctors i/c) of this ward. I asked my dad what happen to that patient and he said that patient had coughed and puked blood just now. Fine, I thought, these docs should be able to handle it lor. Then I observed that abt another 7 different docs came to visit that patient. And strangely all of them ask that patient the same question. "Did you puked blood just now?" Apparently my profession have not taught our docs how to read, so they dunno how to read the patient's case file and must verbally ask lor. I was really tempted to walk over there and teach these docs how to read. Come to think of it, my LSP kids can also become docs...Erm.....dunno to be happy or scared. Back to the "show", then at around 5.40pm, 1 of the 3 resident started ranting "Uncle! Uncle! Call the MO. Uncle! Uncle! call the MO." I couldn't see anything lor cuz they curtained the area around that patient. But the next hour or so, was a very frantic scene lor, the docs and nurses rushing in and out of that curtained patient's area. It's like watching ER live on tv. Unfortunately, after trying for like 1 hour plus, the patient was pronounced dead at around 7 .05pm lor. The scene in the ward then turn kind of gloomy lor. Poor thing. All his family arrived abt 6 +, and they cried / wailed / wept when they learn that he has "went to play chess with the one above". Kind of empathise them.

Dad's Admission to CGH

My dad got admitted into CGH this morning. Why was he admitted? Good question. I'm given VERY strict order by his truly and my F&B minster, aka mum, that the real reason why he was admitted must never be leak out. BUT this secret is too funny not to be shared leh! Can die wan you know, keeping this secret. The official statement we have to say is "He was admitted because he choked onto something." The funny part is that something but since I can't leak it out (hey! Food is damn important to me, ok?), I'll just have to leave it at there. Hehehe...Don't bother to ask me outside, I can't tell too. (Makan leh! very important!) Anyway, he choked just before breakfast this morning, but he still insist that he drive me to school. So touched! but was also quite pissed off too, thought I can accompany him to the hospital then use that as a reason to 'potang school'. Idiot! still must come to school. 8(

Initially when he was admitted we thought it was just to operate to remove "that foreign object", but our "very competent doctors" in the hospital said they can't find "that foreign object", so they inserted a camera thru his mouth to look for it in his stomach lor. Somehow "not surprisingly to me" these docs can't find "that foreign object" there too. But they found things they claimed to be cancerous cells in his stomach. So they admitted him so that they can do further testing on him lor. As for "that foreign object", these docs expect my dad to pass it out when he pass motion lor, so in prepreparation for their "cancer testing", they gave instruction that he have to starve the whole day lor. Seems "sooooo brilliant" their prescription, except for 1 tiny problem that these "premature and brain-defect" docs have obviously fail to consider. My dad ate his last meal at 8pm yesterday, he was about to eat his breakfast this morning when he choked. IDIOT & STUPID DOCTORS!!!! HOW TO PASS MOTION when he have an empty stomach??? You mean coming every 30 mins to ask him if he has passed motion will help meh????!!!!! WAH LAU EH!!!!!! They are supposed to be s'pore elites leh! Tell ppls they give this kind of stupid prescription, will make s'pore lose face wan leh. 8

Lower Primary Sports Day 2006

This year the LPS was brought forward by 2 months from 29 September to 7 July. So it was a mad rush last term planning the logistics for the LPS. Too short the timing. Anyway, we held the LPS last Friday. Came down with a swollen larynx on Thurday night so I could barely speak on Friday. There's why I was pretty quiet during the LPS. Almost like a dead mouse, not even a squeak. Also I have a hard time taking photos of my class, as they are all split up & some of time are not competing. I also want to complain to the teacher in-charge that the results were unfair. How can 2B & 2A "booked" the 1st and 2nd prize for all 3 events. Unfair leh!!! Protest! Protest!!!!! Wait! I am that teacher in-charge! Idiot!!!!!
