Sway Morning

This morning went for my driving lessons. Reach the driving school at 8am. I had plenty of time to spare so I went to look for my designated car and then I sat in the canteen to wait for the instructor. Alas, maybe due to the fact I forgot to pray before I left my home, I got back that M*****f****r instructor again. And just like last time, he criticised every aspects of my driving. Constantly nagging at me. "Why never turn on your left signal?" (Turning still about 50 metres away.) "Why never check mirror before you check the blindspot?" (Check liao, but keep saying never check.) "Your car only have 1 gear, is it?" (Bloody hell! Checking blind spot and mirrors and turning how to change gear so fast!) Damn stress and strew-up my lesson today. Almost had the impulse to just crash the car to the left to kill that CB-ian cum shit-face cum LC-kia.

Cars' Talk

I'll be taking my driving practical test in about 2 months time. Hope I'll pass the test this time round. The last time I took it was in 2000. Strike curb at the directional changer part. Tester said I mount the curb. Lazy to argue with him. Accepted that immediate failure he gave.

Anyway, hope that I this time round I'll make it lor. So far my performance during my driving lessons has been quite good lor. Not perfect but already got chance to pass liao. I'm taking school this time round. Most of the instructors are satisfied with my performance, except one idiotic instructor who took me during my 3rd lesson. Apparently, he is not happy with my progress. He felt that I'm progressing too fast. 3rd lesson and I'm already out on the road. He nit-pick at my gear change, clutch control, time to speed, stopping distance, etc. In short, whatever I do also was wrong in his eyes. Bloody Pariyah! That Chow Turtle! That lesson was so stress for me! Almost had an accident when I was on the road. I'm very buay song with that f****r lor. If he felt my basic driving skills are not there then make me drive in the circuit or at some less congested roads. That m*****f****r made me drove at those congested roads, plus it was a rainy day. KNNBCCB! I don't want to get him again! Fortunately, all the others instructors were not like him. I mean I made mistakes here and there but to be as bad as he claimed I was, I serious don't agree.

Anyway putting that bad experience aside, now I'm researching cars that I can buy once I pass my test. Hmmm...which car should I go for? I've done some extensive research on the net and I've narrowed down my pick to either a Honda City 1.5 VTEC or a Subaru Impreza 1.6I or Suzuki Swift Sports 1.6. Still can't confirm which will be best suited for me without a test-drive. So I really have to wait till I got my licence then after my test-driving then I can confirm which car I getting lor. Any suggestions for a good buy?

During test-drive day, I'm going to bring my entire family, squeeze into the test-drive car because I wanna see how the cars performed under full-load condition. See if the car have any difficulties in turning corners, stopping, accelerating and speeding. Quite important to me lor since I may have to drive my entire family from times to times. And this is something I'm almost 99.999% sure BMW didn't do when he test-drove his Renault. 8)

1/2 Fuming Entry

Oh yeah! Forgot to mention in my previous entry. I'm now not very happy with certain people in my ex-profession lor. I heard from TT that she was asked to attend KSP's farewell dinner. Kannasai! Never invite me! I not fur-lend with KSP is it???!! Chow Turtle! Now you 'chio' me I also dun go liao! 8

Lunch and Cars

Had lunch with TT today. Finally got a chance to meet her. We had a nice afternoon 'bitching' about people in our ex-profession, especially about BMW and his immature attitude about his car. He lives in his own surreal world where he thinks that his car is the best car in the world. Unfortunate for him, I'm no car idiot lor (my dad is a mechanic.) I know that his car's engine is reasonably good for a 1,600cc car, but given the steep price he had to pay for his car, his car is really not value for money. The fuel consumption was also quite high. For that money he paid, I can get easily get a 1,800cc or 2,000cc car that matches the present fuel consumption rate. Definitely very immature in his choice of car. Furthermore, he likes to harp about the fact that his car's engine came in first in the 2005 and 2006 Formula 1 race ranking. Yes we know his car was 1st in 2005, but duh?!!!, where are you staying ah, BMW? You stay in S'pore so what's the use of having such a powerful engine in S'pore. That's hardly any place here, you can race without attracting the "courtship" by the daffiq matah. And please stop thinking about changing your present car to a BMW 6 series. Do you know that for his present car he was even sponsorship by his lau bu to pay for his car. Wah piang eh! This means his lau bu also have a share in his car. How can he say sell, then sell? And for goodness sake, BMW 6 series is selling at 279,000+ which is like 4x the price you paid for your present car! Fat dream for a fat guy?!!!

Boliao Entry

Wanted to chio small master & gang for lunch, so I visited YPS today lor. Also because Mabel, my ex student asked me too mah. The kids all missed me. Had an intention to also show-off my "eng-ness", due to my school holidays, while my ex-colleagues are all still slogging for the semester end. Seeing their haggard looks sure put "joy" into my heart.....snigger...snigger....

Anyway, in the end my lunch date with them didn't really materialised lor.....I only had chance to makan with general. We are meeting later for "exotic" dinner a.k.a. prata.

On another note, I had been reading TT's blog for the past few days and I find her entries kind of dark. Gave me an impression of Anakin Skywalker in movie Star Wars episode 3. TT's entries however inspired me to create a character/actor list for Star Wars using the people I knew from my experiences in YPS. This list is just for laugh. Any resemblance to people, living or dead, is just an coincidence. 8)

Yipee!!! End of my Exam!

Today, I had my last paper for this semester. Hooray! Holidays time! Can finally blog liao. Sorry to all my "loyal" readers who had been wondering why I had "vanished" from the net. Exam fever lah! Mid of last month, I worked like mad preparing my tuition kids for their exams, then after they had their exam, my turn to mugg for my exam. Super duper brain-dry now lor. Need many weeks of "vegetating at home" to recuperate.

While on the subject of exam, I want to make noise ah! The papers are all 3 hours long, but need us to answer like 7 essay questions each paper. Wah piang eh! All my papers I can't finished leh!!! No time to complete my answer for the last question everytime. I know the answer but not enough time to finish writing. Very unfair for me leh! Should give me another hour or so, where got people write 7 essays in 3 hours wan! Plus for the company law paper, the questions were all so vague e.g. Problem given, then the statement "Advise Mr so-and-so." Excuse me, Setter. Advise that fellow on what? His actions? His remedies? His rights? All write, I can. But there will be a lot to write cuz I can identify at least 5 actions So-and-so can take. Same goes for his remedies, rights, case law, etc. Plus elaboration on each points, how to write all when you only award like 6 marks to this section. Turtle lah you, setter! You clever, you write lah! 8

Anyway on a lighter note, "small master" also very long never blog liao. So I thought I could beat her by blogging first lor and make fun of her in my blog. Alas, that lady beat me by blogging 5 hours before me. (Giving her the evil eyes from a distance) I was watching the movie "Halloween" when she blogged. Hmmmp!!! 8
